Holiday Storage of Laptops/cameras/servers & other electronic data in the Vault
In the world we live in the theft of data is unfortunately a factor that must be considered at all times particularly where data contains personal identity and/or financial information. While data protection can be increased with encryption software this still does not provide for the risk involved in holding such data on lap tops, tablets and other electronic formats.
DSM now provides a 'lap-top vault' service to customers. For a very small fee which purchases a lot of peace of mind DSM will provide customers with a box in its fire-protected (protected with the FM-200 gas suppression system) and air-conditioned vault which can be used on either the long-term or the short-term to hold lap-tops, tablets, hard disks and other valuable items.
A number of customers now use this service when they are e.g. away from their homes or places of work on holidays or on business and where they feel that these items could be at risk of either theft or damage.
This service is available to both Companies as well as private individuals and can be short-term or long-term as required with no contractual mandatory periods or penalties involved.
