Track and Trace with Asset Retention Management

Our in-transit inventory tracking ensures you can monitor the location and status of each item with audit trails available through our DSM Link portal. Additionally, our Asset Retention Date Management system helps you stay compliant by tracking retention periods and notifying you when items are due for review or secure disposal.

Categorising, Cataloguing, and Indexing Assets

DSM’s asset categorising, cataloguing, and indexing service is an essential part of our Secure Vault solution, ensuring your assets are organised and easily accessible. By systematically categorising and cataloguing each asset, we provide a clear and searchable structure, making retrieval quick and efficient. The onboarding process involves three steps:
Asset Classification and Sorting: Before cataloguing, we classify your assets to determine if they need to be stored, digitised, or securely destroyed. This step ensures that only the necessary assets are stored, optimising both cost and efficiency.

Systematic & Detailed Cataloguing:
Each asset or box of assets is assigned a unique identifier barcode and categorised based on your specific requirements. Comprehensive metadata is recorded, including retention dates, asset type, staff access control levels, and any relevant regulatory information.

Asset Level Indexing:
An optional service that enhances organisation and tracking by barcoding each individual asset for precise management and easy retrieval. This service is particularly valuable for items requiring frequent access or stringent regulatory compliance.
